Component
This section describes the name and function of each component of the system unit,
motherboard, and keyboard.

Front of the system unit

Floppy disk drive (for 3.5-inch disks)
The drive is used to read data from or write it to a
floppy disk.
Floppy disk access indicator light
The light is on while data is being read from or
written to the floppy disk.
Floppy disk eject button
When you take out a floppy disk, press this button. Do
not press the button while the floppy disk access
indicator light is on.
