    1-Knife the unit. TO REMOVE FROM CARTON Locate and remove container of Craftsman 2-cycle oil. Locate all parts packed separately and remove from the carton. Remove and discard the packing material from around the snow thrower. Cut down all four corners of the carton and lay the panels flat.

    ADJUSTMENT/REPAIR TO ADJUST THE CARBURETOR The carburetor is not adjustable. Engine performance should not be affected at altitudes up to 7,000 feet. For operation at higher elevations, contact your nearest Sears Store. IMPORTANT: Never tamper with the engine governor, which is factory set for proper engine speed. Over-speed- ing the engine above the factory high speed setting can be dangerous.
