Error Codes

Error code

If there is a problem with the camera, an

error message appears. Follow the

instructions displayed.

To recover from the error, press the shutter

button halfway, turn the power switch

<OFF> and <ON>,

or remove and

reinstall the battery.

If error 02 (memory card problem) is

displayed, remove and reinstall the

memory card or format the card. This may

resolve the problem.

If the same error keeps appearing,

there may be a prob[emo Write

down the error code and consuJt your nearest Canon

Service

Center.
