Live View Shooting
Taking the Picture

Cheek the composition.
_ Press the <(;_,>to check the image
composition in full view.
Cheek the disptay.

Take the picture.
® Press the shutter button completely.
_y,, T he picture will be taken and the captured
image is displayed on the LCD monitor.
_, After the image review ends, the
camera will return to Live View
shooting automatically.
_ To terminate shooting, press <_>
while Live View image is displayed.
To check the exposure slmulauon and depth of fiela, press the depth-of-
field preview button.
Flash photography is also possible However. FE lock. modeling flash.
and test firing are not possible. The Speedtite's Custom Functions also
sannot be set with the Speedlite
With the 580EX H. the wireless sethng cannot be changed.
Under low hght or bright Jight conditions, the Live View image m_gn_ no_
amplay the proper brightness. And if you press the depth-of-field preview
button, the image might not show the brightness corresponding to the
exposure setting (<_ > icon blinks) However the captured _mage will
reflect the exposure setting.
If there is a very bright light source in the picture, such as the sun. the
aright area might be covered in black on tne LCD monitor. However. the
actual captured image will correctly show the bright area.
_ The ume it takes to actually take the picture after you press _ne shutter
button completely is slightly longer than with shooting _nrough the
viewfinder.
