Increasing the Memory

∫ DIMM module extension

KV-S3105C is equipped with 256 MB memory on the interface board. KV-S3085 in equipped with 64MB memory on
the interface board. However, additional memory is required for scanning A3, color, double side images with 600 dpi,
for example.
To determine how much optional memory is required, refer to "Section 3.4 Image Type" of the PIE Reference Man-
ual.
Recommended DIMM
≥ JEDEC-Standard 168pin, dual in-line memory module (DIMM)
≥ Nonbuffered
≥ Single +3.3V±0.3V power supply
≥ Frequency/ CAS Latency: 100MHz/CL=2, 133MHz/CL=2, 133MHz/CL=3
≥ 64MB, 128MB, 256MB or 512MB may be used.
(Reference) DIMM module which has been evaluated and approved for use with this scanner.

∫ Installing optional memory (DIMM module)

Install the DIMM modules into the interface board provided in this unit.
