IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
O Read all instructions.
IZ! Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
CI To protect against risk ot electrical shock, do not
immerse cord, plug, or any non-removable parts
of tilts oven m water or other liquid.
0 Close supervBton _snecessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
f-i Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before putting oil or
taking off parts_
t_ Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or alter the appliance mal[unctions
or is dropped or damaged m any manner. Return
tile appliance to tile nearest authorized service
tacility for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adiustment. Or, call the appropriate
toll-flee number listed on the cover ot this
manual.
Ct Tile use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
[31Do not use outdoors.
tZI Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
counter, or touch hot surfaces.
fZI Do not place on or near a hot gas or eIectncal
burner, or m a heated oven.
O Extreme caution must be used wi_en moving an
appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquid.
!ZI To disconnect, turn any control to "off",them
remove plug from wall outlet.
tZI Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
CI Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be
inserted in this appliance, as they may create a
fire or risk ot electric shock.
CI A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or
touching flammable material including curtains,
draperies, walls and the like, when in operation.
Do not store any item on top of umt when m
operation.
(3 Extreme caution should be used when using
containers constructed of otller than metal or
glass.
O Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces
can break off the pad and touch electrical parts
resulting m a risk of electric shock.
Q Do not store any material, other than
manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this
oven when not in use.
CI Use extreme caution when removing tray or
disposing of hot grease.
C] Do not place any of the following materials m
the oven: paper, cardhoard, plastic wrap, and
the like.
IZI Do not cover crumb tray or any parts of the oven
with metal foil. This will cause overheating of
the oven>
CI To stop toasting, turn toast browning control to
OFF<To stop baking or broiling, turn temperature
control OFF and Timer to 0.
