SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety

the following:

immerse cord, plug, or any non-removable parts
of tilts oven m water or other liquid.

cleaning. Allow to cool before putting oil or

tZI Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
counter, or touch hot surfaces.
fZI Do not place on or near a hot gas or eIectncal
burner, or m a heated oven.
O Extreme caution must be used wi_en moving an
appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquid.
!ZI To disconnect, turn any control to "off",them
remove plug from wall outlet.
tZI Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
CI Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be
inserted in this appliance, as they may create a
fire or risk ot electric shock.
CI A fire may occur if the toaster oven is covered or
touching flammable material including curtains,
draperies, walls and the like, when in operation.
Do not store any item on top of umt when m
operation.

containers constructed of otller than metal or
glass.
O Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces
can break off the pad and touch electrical parts

oven when not in use.

disposing of hot grease.
C] Do not place any of the following materials m
the oven: paper, cardhoard, plastic wrap, and
the like.
IZI Do not cover crumb tray or any parts of the oven
with metal foil. This will cause overheating of
the oven>
CI To stop toasting, turn toast browning control to
OFF<To stop baking or broiling, turn temperature
control OFF and Timer to 0.
