Porcelain EnamelCooktop(on some models)
Tile porcelain enamel finish is sturdy
but breakable if misused. This finish is
add-resist;rot. However; any acidic fl)o(ls
spilled (such as ti'uitjuices, tomato
or
vinegar) should not be pemfitted to remain
on the finish.
If acids spill on tile cooktop while it is hot,
rise a dry paper towel or cloth to wil)e it tlI)
right away. _4]/en tile SllYlilce has cooled,
wash with soap and _;Im_: Rinse well.
For other spills such as tilt spatterings, wash
with soap and water or cleansing

Lift-Up Cooktop(onsomemodels)
Some models have a cooktop that can be
lifted up fi)r easier cleaning.
Tile entire
cooktop ma)' be lifted up and supported
in tile up position.
The SUltilce units do not need to be
rei//oved; howe\'ei; you I/laY relilOVe one to
make raising the cooktop easier: There are
two side supports that lock into position
when tile cooktop is lifted up.

damage the receptacle.
Toreplace a surface unit:
Replace tile drip pan into the reress in tile
c/_oktop. Make sure tile opening in the pan
lines up with tile receptacle.
Insert tile temfinals of tile sm_i_ce unit
through tile opening in tile drip pan and
into tile receptacle.
Guide tile suriime unit into place so it rests
evenly.

Place them in a covered containe_: Add
1/4 cup ammonia and let soak several

Tile drip pans may also be cleaned in tile
dishwasher:
Clean tile area trader tile (hi l) pans often.
Built-up soil, espedally grease, may catch fire.
Do not cover the drip pans with foil Usingfoil so
dose to the receptacle cou/dcause shock, fire or
damage to the range.
