Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat the oven if the iedpe calls tbr it.
To preheat, set tile oven at tile con'ect
tenlperilture. Preheating is necessaiw

Onsome models, the display wl71 show "PRE"
while preheat/bg. When the ovenreachesthe
selected temperature,the ovencontrol will beep
and the display will show the oven temperature.
Baking results will be better if baking pans
are centered in tile ()','ell
as
I/ltlch as
possible. Pans should not touch each other
or tile walls ot tile oven. If vou need to use
two shelves, stagger tile pans so one is not
directly abo\v tile other; and leave
appro_mately 1 ½" Kom tile fl'ont of tile
pan to tile fl'ont of tile shelf.

Never covertheovenbottomwith
aluminumfoil.
You can use alunlilmln fifil to line tile
broiler pan and broiler grid. Howevei;

Never entirely cover a shelf with ahmlilmln
toil. This will disturb the heat circulation
and result in poor baking.

yet the proper temperature is
