Electrical Requirements
120-volt, 60 Hertz, properly grounded dedicated drcuit
protected by a 15-amp or 20-amp circuit breaker or time
delay rise.
Extension Cord Cautions
Because of potential safet_ ha/_n'ds associated with certain
conditions, _e strongly recommend against tile use of
an extension cord. Howevei, if you still elect to use all
extension cord, it is absoluteN necessalw that it be a
lJiAisted, 3-wire gTotmding-t}pe appliance extension cord
and that tile cmTent carr}ing rating of the cord in amperes
be equivldent to, or greater than, the circtfit lating.

FOR PERSONAL SAFETY, THIS APPLIANCE MUST
BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.

Tile power cord of this appliance is equipped with a
3-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard
3-prong gu_unding wall receptacle to minimize tile
possibility oI electric shock ha/ard fi'om this appliance.
Tile customer should have tile wall receptacle and drcuit
checked by a qualified electridan to make sure tile
receptacle is properly grounded.
Where a smndaid 2-prong wall receptacle is encountered,
it is the pel_onal responsibility and obligation (ff the
customer to haw it replaced with a propedy grounded
3-prong wall receptacle.
DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCFS, CUT OR
REMOVE THE THIRD (GROUND) PRONG FROM
THE POWER CORD.
A word about GFCI's--GFCI's axe not required or
recommended for gas range receptacles.

that sense leakage of cmTent ill a circuit and automatically
switch off power when a threshold leakage level is
detected. These devices must be manually reset by the

An adapter may be used only on a 15-amp circuit. Do not
