Replacing the light bulbs.
Setting the controls to OFF does not remove power to the light circuit.
ReveaF appliance bulbs are used on some models. They can be identified by their blue color when they
are not illuminated.
Not all features are on aft models.
Yourlight shield will look like
one of the following.
Tabs
OR
Pocket
Refrigerator Compartment--Upper Light
O Unplug tile refrigerator.
The bulbs are located at the top of the
compartment, inside the light shield.
On some models, a screw at tile fl'ont of
the light shield will have to be _emoved.
On other models, the screw is located
in the pocket located at the back of the
light shield.
O To remoxe tile light shield, on some O
models, press in on tile tabs on tile
sides of tile shield and slide fin'ward
and out. On other models,just slide
tile shield fin'ward and out.
_Mter repladng tile bulb with an
appliance bulb of tile same or lower
wattage, replace the light shield and
screws (on some models). When
replacing the light shield, make sure
that the tabs at the back ot the shield
fit into tile slots at tile back of tile light
shield housing.
Plug tile refligerator back in.
Refrigerator Compartment--Lower Light

control knob by pulling straight out.
O IJfl the light shield up and pull it out.
O ,Mter replacing tile bulb xfith an
appliance bulb of tile same or lower
watta_m_, replace the shield and
the knob.
Plug tile refrigerator back in.
Freezer Compartment
Unplug tile reliigerator
Remoxe the shelfj ust aboxe the light
shield. (The shelf will be easier to
remove if it is emptied fi_st.) On some
models, a screw at the top of the light
shield will need to be removed.
To remoxe tile light shield, press in
on tile sides, and lift up and out.

Replace tile bulb with an appliance
bulb of the same or lower wattage,
and reinstall the light shield. When
reinstalling the light shield, make
sure tile top tabs snap securelv
into place. Replace the screw
(on some models).
0 Reinstall tile shelf and plug tile
refl'igerator back in.
Dispenser
(on some models)
O /Jnplug tile refligerator
O The bulb is located on the dispenser
trader the control panel.
Remoxe tile light bulb by tm'ning
it cotmterclockwise.
Replace
tile bulb with a bulb of tile
same size and wattage.
