On DVD discs that include a copy protection code, if the contents of the DVD disc are copied using a VCR, the copy protection code prevents the videotape copy from playing normally. -

This DVD player is designed and manufactured to respond to the Locale Management Information that is recorded on a DVD disc. If the Locale number described on the DVD disc does not correspond to the Locale number of this DVD player, this DVD player cannot play that disc. -

However, because of the non-compatibility of certain ripping/burning solf- ware used to record CDs, and the quality of the blank discs used for recording, 100% playability of CD-RW cannot be guaranteed. -
