Copy images to a folder on the hard disk using standard
Explorer file copying procedures.
• Copy by Specifying a Folder
Select a still image/movie in the Explorer window, right-click the mouse,
select [Save] and specify a folder. The still image/movie and its
thumbnail are downloaded to the specified location.
• Windows Me: If you drag a movie file from the Explorer window and
drop it to the specified folder, the [.avi] extension will not be copied.
Add the extension back by selecting [Rename Image].

Downloading with the File Dialog [Still Images Only]

You can select a still image from an image editing program such as ArcSoft
PhotoImpression and save it to the computer. This section explains how to
load still images using ArcSoft PhotoImpression. For more details, please refer
to the PDF manual of ArcSoft PhotoImpression.
1.
Connect the Power Adapter to the camcorder.
2.
Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied
USB cable (

Turn the POWER switch to PLAY (VCR) and move the TAPE/
CARD switch to CARD.
• The Scanners and Cameras Wizard opens automatically.

Click the [Cancel] button.
5.
Start the image editing program, such as ArcSoft PhotoImpression.
• The camcorder's images are displayed as thumbnails in the Explorer window.
6.
Click the [From file] menu and select [Browse].
• The Open dialog appears.
7.
Select [My Computer] and your camcorder's icon in the file list.
• The camcorder images are displayed as thumbnails.
