Worm-gear set
When converting to a disc cam 4 with a different number of stitches the
appropriate worm-gear set must also be fitted. A worm-gear set
consists of worm drive 2 and worm screw 3.

Intermediate transmission
Fitting the intermediate transmission 6 with idler gear 5 doubles the
number of stitches per disc-cam rotation (transmission ratio 2:1).
