2.2.1.5 Rectifier and Smoothing Circuit

The 26 VAC from the secondary coil of the transformer are full-wave rectified by diode bridge DB1, and con-
verted to approximately 36 VDC by smoothing capacitor C40. The + 24 VDC and + 5 VDC voltages are con-
verted from this DC voltage, which is used as the power supply voltage for the switching regulator IC at the
next stage.
