2.10 Stitch equality of the forward and backward stitch

Caution: Risk of injury!
Turn off the main switch.
The stitch equality may only be adjusted with the sewing machine
switched off.
Standard checking
The stitch length of the forward and backward stitch should be
identical.
–
Sew forwards.
–
Sew backwards.
–
Compare the stitch lengths of both seams.
Correction
–
Loosen the screw 1.
–
Turn the eccentric 2 using a screw driver.
Clockwise =
Backward stitch larger, forward stitch smaller.
Counter-clockwise =
Forward stitch larger, backward stitch smaller.
–
Fasten the screw 1.
–
Sew forwards.
–
Sew backwards.
–
Compare the stitch lengths of both seams.
