When connecting the CDE-9874E/CDE-9872E to the fuse box, make sure the fuse for the intended circuit of the CDE-9874E/CDE-9872E has the appropriate amperage. Failure to do so may result in damage to the unit and/or the vehicle.

    Connect each input lead coming from an amplifier to the corresponding output lead coming from the left rear of the CDE-9874E/CDE-9872E. Connect all other leads of the CDE-9874E/CDE-9872E according to details described in the CONNECTlONS section. Slide the CDE-9874E/CDE-9872E into the dashboard until it clicks.
