All work on the electrical equipment of this special sewing machine may only be carried out by qualified electricians or other appropriately trained persons. The mains plug must be removed.     Direction of rotation of sewing drive Caution: Before the special sewing machine is started it is essential to check the direction of rotation of the motor. It is defined as the position of the needle tip, with the needle descending in the normal direction of rotation, at the level of the upper side of the needle plate.
