Warning
Only Vauxhall child restraint systems with
transponders 3 can be fitted on the front
passenger's seats. Use of system s
without transponders poses a risk of fatal
injury.
Vehicles with seat oc cup anc y recog nition
are identified by a sticker on the lower
panel of the front passeng er's seat –
see illustration above.

If control indicator illuminates for
approx. 4 seconds after the ignition is
switched on, the vehicle is equipped with
seat occupancy rec ognition - see page 73.
The seat occupancy recognition system
detects Vauxhall child restraint sy stems
with transponders 3 and switches off the
front and side airbag system s for the front
passenger' s seat. The curtain airba g
system remains activated.
