Software Installation
To use the CI1, you must first install the software on the computer. This section explains the soft-
ware installation. Install Sequel LE/WaveLab LE in the STEINBERG SOFTWARE PACKAGE FOR
CI1 DVD-ROM, then install the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver in the TOOLS for CI1 CD-ROM.
NOTE
Before installing the software, confirm the "System Requirements for Software" on page 7. The latest information
(e.g. OS compatibility, software update, etc.) is available on the following Steinberg website.

Installing Sequel LE/
WaveLab LE
To install the Sequel LE/WaveLab LE, there are
two steps:
• Software installation
• User registration
NOTE
The "User registration" requires an Internet connection.
Software installation
Install the software using the STEINBERG
SOFTWARE PACKAGE FOR CI1 DVD-ROM.
Follow the instructions below.
1.
Start the computer and log on to the Ad-
ministrator account.
2.
Insert the STEINBERG SOFTWARE
PACKAGE FOR CI1 DVD-ROM into the
DVD-ROM drive.
3.
When the "WELCOME TO SEQUEL LE
AND WAVELAB LE" window appears,
click the corresponding national flag
icon to choose your preferred language.
NOTE
If this window does not appear automatically, open
the DVD-ROM then double-click the file "CI1 Start
Center."
4.
Click "Install (software name)."
5.
Follow the onscreen instructions to in-
stall the software.
