This device must accept any interference, includ- ing interference that may cause undesired operation. Introduction The UT-3000 transmitter is compatible with any 3000 Series receiver.
  • Page 3 Operation: (Always test unit prior to installation) 1. Swing open the bottom of the front cover to reveal the battery connector, dip switch- es and input terminals. (see Figure 1) 2. Connect a 9-volt alkaline battery to the transmitter. 3. Set the dip switches 1-8 on the transmit- ter module to match the receiver.
  • Page 4 Coding the transmitter: 1. Open the bottom section of the transmitter (as shown in figure 1) 2. Locate the 10 dip switches in the transmitter (figure 2). 3. The first eight dip switches are for the frequency setting (256 combinations). Set switches 1-8 to match the eight switches in the receiver.

(figure 4) The mounting bracket is located on the back of the UT-3000 and can be removed by simply sliding it off. Position the brack- et were you would like it and place two screws in the holes provided.
