15.7 Firmware

The M-Series is internally based on programmable logic. By re-programming of a little compo-
nent called Flash-PROM, both function and behaviour of the unit can be changed at any time.
At the time of writing this manual, M-32 DA and M-16 DA are shipping with firmware 1.5. The
firmware version is displayed after power on for about one second on the level meters of the M-
series units.
Firmware 1.5: Initial release
Firmware 2.1: The temperature inside the unit can be read via MIDI. The fan operation can be
changed via MIDI.
