Transporting the Printer

Follow this procedure to pack the printer carefully for transporting to a service center or for
long term storage. Use the packing material that you saved when you unpacked the printer.
I Packing the Printer

Press the POWER button to turn the printer off.

If there is any paper in the sheet feeder, remove it.

Unplug the AC adapter power cord and interface cable from the printer.
If you have installed the battery from the optional Portable Kit NK-300,
remove the battery.

Close the top cover.
Note
You can leave the BJ cartridge installed in the printer.
