Lowering the Intensity setting

Open the printer driver.

On the Main tab, click the Advanced button then select the Color tab.

Slide the button on the Intensity slide bar to the left to reduce the amount
of ink used in the print job.
Lowering the Density setting

From the File menu, select Print.

In the Print dialog box, click the Manual
button.

In the Detailed Setting dialog box, click the Color icon.

Drag the button on the Density slide bar to the left to reduce the amount of
ink used in the print job.
