The power on/off switch (5)
The BT Accord 30 will switch to standby mode automatically after a period of
inactivity. Turning off the unit does not affect normal telephone communication through
the handset, so you can answer or make phone calls through the handset as usual.
Configuring the control unit
The telephone configuration switch (2) at the back of the BT Accord 30 allows
you to select the most suitable setting for you to work with your telephone. To
check your configuration put the headset on and move the handset/headset
switch (11) to the headset position.
Please make sure you turn down the volume to protect your hearing.
Make sure the telephone/computer switch (8) is set to telephone position. Raise
the telephone handset and move the 6-position configuration switch slowly until you
can hear a clear dial tone.
Note that there may be two matching settings, choose the clearer setting or either
one if both perform the same.
