Programmable functions

Programmable functions
The programmable functions enable
the user to introduce further features as
required. The programmable functions
remain stored in memory until they are
cancelled by the user.
The following programmable
functions can be selected:
A
= Maximum water level
The water level for rinsing is automati-
cally raised to the maximum level
where rinse results are particularly
important.
Effective for the rinses in programmes:
– Cottons
– Minimum Iron
– Quick Wash
– Mixed Wash - Poly/Cottons
B
= Water plus system
The "Water plus" button offers four op-
tions, increasing water level and / or
bringing in an extra rinse cycle.
Option 1
Increase in the rinse water level in the
Cottons, Minimum Iron, Quick Wash
and Mixed Wash programmes, where
for example rinse results are particu-
larly important.
30
Option 2
Increase in the water level in main
wash and rinses for Cottons, Minimum
Iron, Delicates, Quick Wash, and Mixed
Wash particularly for fabrics that need
special care, or where extra attention
must be taken in dissolving detergent.
This option is already set when the ma-
chine is delivered from the factory.
Option 3
An extra rinse cycle is introduced to
the Cottons programme, e.g. when
rinse results are particularly important.
Option 4
Is Option 2 plus Option 3, where this
quality of rinse is required.
C
= Activating the i com-
partment
For the first 10 seconds of the main
wash cycle water flows in through
compartment i.
Compartment j may sometimes not
be able to hold the total amount of
detergent required when:
– the water is very hard (over
3.8 mmol/l, water hardness level IV)
and
– the washing is heavily soiled.
In this case compartment i can be
used to flush in the extra detergent for
the main wash.
