Connect your MIDI device's MIDI Input to the FireWire 410's MIDI Output. Connect your MIDI device's MIDI Output to the FireWire 410's MIDI Input.
Use the front-panel MIDI Thru switch to operate the FireWire 410 in stand-alone mode. In this mode connection to a host computer is not
necessary to pass MIDI information.
Shown in the illustration below is a MIDI controller keyboard plugged into the FireWire 410's MIDI input. A MIDI sound module is connected
to the FireWire 410's MIDI output.
