INITIAL USE INSTRUCTIONS

ENGINE OIL

The generator is shipped
1. Place the generator on a level surface.
2. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
3. Add enough SAE 10W-30 API service category SJ or later (or
equivalent) oil to bring the oil level to the upper limit on the oil filler
cap/dipstick. SAE 10W-30 oil is recommended for general use; for
additional recommendations, see page
Do not overfill the engine with oil.
excess oil may be transferred to the air cleaner housing and air filter.
4. Screw in the oil filler cap/dipstick securely.
