PREPARE THE HOOD Unpack hood and check contents. INSTALL THE DUCTWORK ROOF CAP 8” ROUND DUCT NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, use only metal ductwork. 1. Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. DECORATIVE WALL 2. A straight, short duct run will allow the hood FLUE to perform most efficiently. -

WIRING Note: This range hood must be properly grounded. The unit should be installed by a WIRING BOX qualified electrician in accordance with all COVER applicable national and local electrical codes. 1. Remove the wiring box cover. Remove a DUCT COLLAR knockout from the wiring box. -

BOTTOM TRIM REPLACEMENT 1. Remove the two (2) screws from the inside of the hood. 2. Remove trim by pulling it frontwards. 3. Slide new trim inward onto hood. 4. Replace the two screws removed in step 1 above. MAINTENANCE Grease Filters The grease filters should be cleaned frequently. -

OPERATION BLOWER LIGHT ON / OFF SWITCH Controls BLOWER SWITCH The hood is operated using the slide controls SPEED CONTROL under the front edge of the hood. The light switch turns the halogen lights on and off. The blower on / off switch turns the blower on to the running speed set by the blower speed control. -
