3.3. Connecting the Interface Cable
The Ethernet Big Disk gives you the option to connect
either a USB or Ethernet cable. However, the Ethernet
and USB cables can be connected simultaneously only if
there is a DHCP server on the network or machine.
3.3.1. USB Connection

1. Connect the USB cable into the USB port on the
back of the LaCie Ethernet Big Disk (A).

2. Connect the other end of the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable
into an available USB port on your computer (B).
3. Press the blue On/Off Button on the front of the
drive.
Now move on to step 3, 3.4.,

drive. It may take a few seconds for your network to
recognize the drive.
