6.5.11 Removing/Replacing the VGA Video Board

To remove and replace the VGA Video Board Assembly, use the following procedure:
1.
Turn off the computer; disconnect the AC power adapter (if it is attached),
and remove the battery pack and PCMCIA cards as described in Paragraphs
6.5.1 and 6.5.2. Also disconnect the MPB (Paragraph 6.5.3) if attached.
2.
Remove the Keyboard Assembly as described in Paragraph 6.5.5.
3.
Remove the Heat Sink Assembly as described in Paragraph 6.5.6.
4.
Remove the Display Assembly as described in Paragraph 6.5.7.
5.
Remove two screws and unplug the VGA Video Board from the Main Board
as shown in Figure 6-16.
6.
Replacement is the reverse of Steps 1 through 5.
