Connections required for listening to the content recorded on MDs,
cassette tapes or records
For connecting an MD deck, it is not necessary to connect all the cords. Connect cords according
to the jacks of your equipment.
Turntable
A Audio cord (not supplied)
B Optical digital cord (not supplied)
Notes
• When you connect an MD deck with digital cords,
you can connect it to any digital IN jack on the
receiver. To enable the connection, you should
assign the jack to an MD deck input in the menu.
See "Using other video/audio input jacks"
(page 80).
• If your turntable has a ground (earth) wire, connect
it to the (U) SIGNAL GND terminal.
