CVA-1000 Operation

When using the CVA-1000, the setting must
be made with the SEA-8081 Main Unit.
Please consult with the Alpine dealer.
Arming
The CVA-1000 System Control/Monitor
Receiver, when connected, allows visual
confirmation of SEA-8081 Security System
status. As an added feature, in the event that
the system reports a sensor that is bypassed
or that is tripped during arming, the CVA-
1000 can confirm bypassed sensors by
displaying the name of that sensor.
Remove the key from the ignition.
Exit from the vehicle and close all doors.
Press and release the TX/PANIC button.
The siren will "beep" once, parking lights will
flash, and if installed, the doors will lock. If
the siren "beeps" three times, the security
system is recognizing a faulty sensor. The
following steps explain how to view the faulty
sensor's name on the CVA-1000 screen.
