Customize Your nüvifone

Use SMS Cell Broadcast

If SMS Cell Broadcast is supported
by your service provider and region,
you can receive text messages
broadcast to multiple subscribers in
the area.
1. Tap > Settings
Settings > Personal
Phone > Channels
2. Select the Enable SMS Cell
Broadcast check box.
3. Tap Set Languages, select one
or more languages, and tap OK.
4. Tap Set Channels, select one or
more channels, and tap OK.
Add a New Channel
1. Tap > Settings
Settings > Personal
Phone > Channels
Channels > New.
2. Enter the channel name and
number, and tap OK.

1. Tap > Settings
> Map.
2. Tap a setting to adjust it.
• Map Detail—adjust the
amount of detail shown on
the map. Showing more detail
may cause the map to redraw
slower.
• Orientation—select
Dimensional
map in 3 dimensions (3D)
with your direction of travel at
the top; Track Up
the map in two dimensions
(2D) with your direction of
travel at the top; or
to display the map in 2D with
North at the top.
• Show Location—show your
location on the nearest road
or at your GPS location.
