CHAPTER 3: Replacing notebook components

Carefully lift up the modem board to remove it from the port on the system
board; then turn it over to access the cable.

Disconnect the cable from the modem board.

Connect the cable to the new modem board and connect it to the port on
the system board.

Secure the new modem board with the screws that was removed on

Reinstall the palm rest by following the instructions in

Reinstall the LCD panel assembly by following the instructions in
