Flash signal
If you subscribe to call waiting service with your
telephone service provider and a new call comes
in during a phone conversation, you can press the
Flash key to toggle between callers.
Flash timing is the signalling process that tells the
phone system when a phone line is engaged. The
United States (US) uses a 100 ms timing sequence,
and the European Union (EU) uses a 600 ms timing
sequence.
The factory default setting for flash time is Flash-1
(100 ms). If necessary, change the flash time to
Flash-2 (600 ms).
