Center in the military market for inspection and approved
warranty service, or ship your unit in its original carton box
or equlvalenl, lully insured and shipping charges prepaid,
10 the authorized Kenwood service Center.
SCOPE OF WARRANTY
Except as specilied below, Ihis warranty covers all delects in
materials and wOfkmanship of the Kenwood brand products.
The lollowing are not covered by this warranty.
1. Vollage conversions.
2. Periodic check-ups which do noldiscloseany defectcovered
by Ihe warranty.
3. Cablnels, grilles, other exlerior finishes, bells, tape heads,
and other non-durable parts and accessories.
4. Units on which the serial number has been effaced, modified
or removed.
5. Inslallation and/or removal charges.
6. Damaged magnetic tapes.
7. House call charges for any repairs.
8. Shipping or delivery cI1arges 10 or Irom an aulhorized
Kenwood service Genler.
9. This warranty will nol cover anylailurelhal isdueloanyofthe
lollowing conditions inaccordance wilh lhevisual inspection
01 !he authorized Kenwood Service Genler:
• Improper maintenance or repair, including Ihe installation 01
parts or acoossOfies Ihat do nol conform to lhe quality and
specifications 01 Ihe original parts.
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, unaulhorized producl modillcation
or failure to follow instruclions contained in Ihe Dwne(s
Manual.
• Accidenlal or intentional damages.
• Repairs or anempled repairs by an unauthorized agency.
(All repairs must be perlormed al an authorized Kenwood
Service Center.)
• Damages or deteriootiOns caused during shiprr<nt (Claims
must be presented to Ihe carrier).
• Damages or deterioralions resulting frOfn removal and/
or replacement.
During Ihe warranty period, any authorized Kenwood Service
Center in the military markel iisted in Ihe back ot Ihis warranty
card will provide you tree-of-charge bolh parts and labor
required 10 correct any delect in materials or workmanship.
