MP3 DISC PLAYBACK
MP3 is a format for storing digital audio. An audio CD-quality song can be compressed into the
MP3 format with very little loss of quality, while taking up much less space. The DVD player plays
the songs in the order they were burned on to the disc. When playback is started the elapsed time
of the track that is playing will be displayed.
To play an MP3 disc:
1. Slide the power switch to the ON position.
2. Insert an MP3 disc into the player. A content directory will display on the screen.
3. Press the PREVIOUS (
Note: You can also use the digit keys to select a folder to enter or a song to play.
4. Press ENTER to enter the selected folder or play the selected song.
5. Press the REPEAT button to change the play mode:
Single:
Plays a song once.
Repeat Once:
Repeats the song being played until stop is pressed.
Repeat Folder: Repeats the songs in a folder until stop is pressed.
Folder:
Plays the songs in a folder once.
Note: During playback of an MP3 disc, press the TITLE button to switch between the FOLDER
playback mode and FILELIST playback mode.
USB DEVICE AND SD/MMC/MS CARD PLAYBACK
To play a USB device:
1. Slide the power switch to the ON position.
2. Insert a USB drive in the USB slot.
3. Press the SOURCE button to enter the connected USB device's directory. You can play back
the readable fi les in it.
4. Press the SOURCE button again to switch back to DVD mode.
To play an SD/MMC/MS card:
1. Slide the power switch to the ON position.
2. Insert an SD, MMC or MS card into the SD/MMC/MS card slot.
3. Press the SOURCE button to access the connected memory card's directory. You can play
back the readable fi les in it.
4. Press the SOURCE button again to return to DVD mode.
Note: If a USB device and a memory card are inserted in the player at the same time, press the
SOURCE button once to select USB. Press it twice to select memory card. Press it for the
third time to return to the DVD mode.
