Inserting Batteries
Forcing the cover open can cause damage.
Please follow the procedure below to open the cover.

Slide the bottom cover
halfway.
* The cover locks in this position.

With the cover unlocked,
slide the cover some more.
* The cover slides only to the position in
the photograph.

Insert the batteries.
* Be sure the positive and negative
terminals are oriented correctly.

Unlock the cover by sliding
the lock down in the
direction of the arrow.
* Release fi ngers from lock and it springs
back to the locked position.

Lift the cover to
open it.

Close the cover.
