17. Sending Text Messages

Create and send text messages to your family, friends or business associates. The QWERTY
keyboard makes it a snap to type your messages.
To send a text message
1.
On the Home screen, slide to the Messages tab and tap
2. In the To field, enter a mobile phone number, or tap To and select a contact from the
Contacts list.

Compose your message and then tap Send.

18. Sending an MMS Message

Create and send multimedia messages that contain pictures, videos, and audio clips.
1.
Tap Start > Text.
2. Tap Menu > New > Picture Message or Video Message.
3.
Enter the recipient's mobile number or email address in the To field and enter the
message Subject.
4. Fill in the Picture or Video message slide by tapping Insert photo/video, Insert text
here, and Insert audio.
5. When finished, tap Send.
