No faces were detected in this scene
- The camcorder did not detect any faces in the scene displayed. Be sure to turn on face detec-
tion (0 64) when shooting movies.
No memory card
- Insert a compatible memory card into the camcorder (0 34).
No photos
- There are no photos to play back. Have fun taking some photos (0 39, 56).
No scenes
- There are no scenes in the memory selected. Have fun shooting some video (0 39).
- After selecting [Scenes with Faces] when narrowing down the scenes shown in the index
screen: No scenes contain people's faces or no scenes were recorded using the face detec-
tion function.
Not enough available space
- Delete some recordings on the memory card (0 54, 102) or select the [3Mbps] bit rate for
the conversion to SD.
Number of scenes already at maximum
- The maximum number of scenes (3,999 scenes) has been reached. Delete some scenes
(0 54) to free some space.
- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes.
Playlist is full. Cannot divide the scene.
- Scenes cannot be divided when the playlist already contains 999 scenes. Delete some scenes
from the playlist (0 95).
Scene recorded using another device. Cannot divide the scene.
- Scenes recorded using another device cannot be divided with this camcorder.
Select the desired scene number
- A number of scenes have the same recording date but different file control information. This
can occur for example when you edit photos and write the files back to the camcorder. Select
a number to display the corresponding group of scenes.
Some B photos could not be deleted
- Protected photos (B) cannot be deleted. Remove the protection (0 114).
Some scenes could not be added to the playlist.
- You may not be able to add to the playlist scenes recorded using another device.
- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes. If the playlist includes scenes recorded in
MXP or FXP mode, the maximum number of scenes in the playlist may be less than 999.
Delete some scenes from the playlist (0 95).
Some scenes could not be deleted
- Movies that were protected/edited with other devices cannot be deleted with this camcorder.
