I can't get my PDA
phone to recognise
my handwriting.

Problem
I tapped the Today
button, but it does not
show the correct date.
I know entered some
records, but they do
not appear in the
application.
Solution
• For your PDA phone to recognise
handwriting input with the stylus
pen, you need to enable Graffiti 2.
See page 281.
• Write Graffiti 2 stroke for lowercase
letters in the left side, strokes for
capital letters in the middle, and
strokes for numbers in the right
side of the Graffiti writing 2 area.
• Make sure that Graffiti 2 is not in
Shift mode. See page 84.
• See "Graffiti 2 Tips" on page 78 for
increasing your accuracy when you
write Graffiti 2 characters.

Your PDA phone is not set to the
current date. Make sure that the Set
Date box on the Date and Time
Preferences screen displays the
current date. See page 278.
• Check the category pick list. Select
to display all the records for the
All
application.
• Check Privacy is set to Show Private
records.
