CD player section
Symptom
The CD is not drawn into the CD player.
A CD is placed in the player but it cannot be
played.
Sound is not produced.
Sound skips.
The display does not switch when the DIS-
PLAY key is pressed.

Remote control operation is not possible.

÷ Insert the CD into the center of the CD slot.
÷ This component stereo optical scans CDs to read content, there-
fore transparent CDs cannot be used with it.
÷ Place the disc properly, with the label side facing the front.
÷ Clean the disc referring to "Disc handling precautions". ‚
÷ Refer to "Caution on condensation" and remove the condensa-
tion by evaporation.
÷ Press the CD 6 key.
