The AN1600 F1 chassis was designed to support twelve 3.5" SAS/SATA hot-swappable hard drives. As a system, ach
server board supports the use of three SATA drives. A single SATA backplane works to apply system-based control
for power and fan speed functions. RAID setup is limited to a three-drive scheme (RAID cannot be spread across all
twelve drives).
