Troubleshooting
The door will not open
1. Check that the main power switch is on.
2. Is there power? Check your fuses (circuit
breakers). The door cannot be opened with
the door opening button (with the key symbol)
if the power is off.
If nothing else works, the door can be
opened as follows:
• This must only be done in an emergency if
the machine's glass door does not open
automatically when the program has
finished.
• The water must first be drained from the
machine. If the Drain program cannot be
run, the machine must be drained manually.
This is described under the heading
"Checking the Filter and Drain pump" in the
"Care and Cleaning" chapter.
• Make sure that the main power switch is off
and that the plug has been removed from
the wall socket.
• You will find the emergency opener for the
glass door in the double sealed bag.
• Open the glass door by putting the opener
in the slot to the right of the lock on the door.
Push the opener up or down and the door
will open. Illustration 3.

If the machine's glass door does not open the next
time a cleaning program finishes, call the
Customer Care Center at the number at the
bottom of this page.

The machine will not start
1. Is the door properly closed? Push it firmly.
2. Is there power? Check the house fuses.
