Dishwasher doesn't power down after a wash. I have to shut the breaker off to do so. Also, now it doesn't fill with water for the wash cycle.

An Asko D3432 dishwasher may not power down after a wash and not fill with water for the next cycle due to the activation of the overfill protection device. If water collects in the base pan from an overfill or small leak, the dishwasher shuts off the inlet valve and starts the drain pump. In this case, the water must be removed from the base pan before the dishwasher can start again. Additionally, the Heavy wash light will flash to indicate an overfill has been detected.

GENT DISPENSER DETER DETER GENT DISPENSER ASKO dishwashers are designed to be energy efficient. Because the machine uses less water than conventional dishwashers, you also use less detergent and rinse aid. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. The amount of detergent needed for your dishes, however, could be more, depending on the hardness of the water in your area.
It also improves drying by allowing water to “sheet” off the dishes. ASKO dishwashers are designed to use liquid rinse aids. The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser. (See illustration on page 3.)
