Adjusting time settings

Setting the clock

To set the clock:

Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the
Picture menu displayed.

Brightness
Color
Tint
Sharpness
Backlight
Advanced Video
Reset Picture Settings
Move
Adjust settings to affect picture quality.

Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The
Settings menu opens.

Set Date/Time and Sleep Timer.

Press or to highlight Time, then press ENTER.
The Settings-Time menu opens with Date/Time
highlighted.

Adjust the date and time to get the correct program times.

Press ENTER, the Settings-Date/Time menu opens.

Press or to highlight Mode, then press
select Manual (to set the date and time manually),
or Auto (to have the date and time set automatically
from a TV signal source, based on your time zone).

Press or to highlight Time Zone, then press
to select your time zone. You can select Pacific,
Alaska, Hawaii, Newfoundland, Atlantic, Eastern,
Central, or Mountain.

If your viewing area observes daylight savings time,
press or to highlight DST, then press
select On.

If you selected Manual for Mode:
• Press or to highlight Year, Month, or Day,
then press or
• Press or to highlight Time, press
highlight the hour, minute, or AM/PM field, then
press or to adjust the setting.

Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or press
EXIT to close the menu.

Setting the sleep timer

You can set the amount of time before your TV
automatically turns off.
To set the sleep timer:
