Problem

Unit not sanitized
Low water pressure
Restricted drain hose
Unit was idle for a period of time
Cracked distributor
Running water from the unit
into a drain during recharge
Air in system after installation
Wiring may have worked loose
in the control
Control needs to be programmed
(a power outage may have occurred)
Low salt level, less than 15 days
Electrical problem with system
What To Do
• Complete the Sanitization Procedures on page 13.
• At completion of recharge cycle (approx. 2 hrs), run water
from faucets to purge the salty water.
Check pressure.
• Drain height 8' or less, pressure should be minimum of 20 psi.
• Drain height above 8', pressure should be minimum of 50 psi.
• Clean and reconnect hose.
• Check for kinks in drain line.
• Complete the Sanitization Procedures on page 13.
• Call for service.
• This is normal.
• Will go away after it runs for a while.
• See page 17 for details.
• Unplug transformer.
• Remove control cover, release clips on side.
• Check for loose/incorrect wiring connections to electronic
board or switch. Reconnect as required.
• Reassemble control cover.
• Plug in Transformer.
• Wait six minutes for Error Code to reappear.
• If Error Code reappears, call for service.
• See the Programming the Control section, page 10.
• Fill with salt.
• Reset salt level.
• See page 17 for details.
• See procedure above, Error code on control.
