Shooting with the FE Lock

Just as with the AE lock (= 126), you can lock the exposure for the flash
shots.
• FE: Flash Exposure

Raise the flash and set it to [h]
(= 1 54).

Lock the flash exposure.
z z Aim the camera at the subject to shoot
with the exposure locked, and then press
the < > button.
X X The flash fires, and when [
displayed, the flash output level is
retained.

Compose the shot and shoot.
z z After one shot, FE is unlocked and [
no longer displayed.
