Shooting Movies in <E> Mode
Locking or Changing Image Brightness Before Shooting
Before shooting, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop
increments within a range of –3 to +3.

Enter <E> mode.

Set the mode dial to <E>.
Black bars displayed on the top and

bottom edges of the screen indicate
image areas not recorded.

Configure the settings to suit
the movie (= 2 90 – 299).

Shoot.

Press the movie button.

To stop movie recording, press the movie
button again.

Lock the exposure.

exposure. The exposure shift bar is
displayed.

To unlock the exposure, press the <
button again.

Adjust the exposure.
