Click the Twain button on the Tool Bar, then you can find the following
window and click O.K. button.

Click OK until you find the screen below.

Click on Auto Detect. The most suitable port is selected automatically.
If you connect your PC COM ports to the Brother Copyboard and other
device such as Brother MFC, select the COM port that the copyboard is
connected to on the PC manually. If you set the COM port manually, select
Speed 19200bps or 38400bps.

Select O.K. to return to the twain dialog box on the Scanner window. If
you cannot return, make sure that the cable between the copyboard and PC
are connected and the power of the copyboard is switched on.
